Sure, I have failed, and so have you,
And now we reason; what shall we do?
Sure, I have cried, well that's nothing new;
We've both shed teardrops, quite a few.

Sure I've been hurt; we both have known pain;
Even though diff'rent, we're really the same.
Sure I've been down, we've all felt that way,
So where is the answer? What can I say?

Let's go to Jesus and show Him our hearts,
Show Him our pain, and show Him our scars.
Let's go to Jesus; together we'll meet
And lay all our burdens at Jesus' feet.

Sure we've been hurt, but so has He.
How He was wounded at Calvary;
Despised and rejected by you and by me.
But look on His face now; what do you see?

Love in His eyes, and scars in His hands;
All that He suffered; part of His plan.
Freely He'll give all that we need.
Praise Him forever; bow at His feet.

Let's go to Jesus and show Him our hearts,
